“Top Of The Morning”

What my dog, Rocky, has taught me.

I heard this saying “top of the morning,” many years ago. I was working in a music store in a mall in Columbus, Georgia. Every morning as I opened up, this well-dressed older gentleman always came by my store and addressed me the same every morning with this greeting - “top of the morning.”

Each of us have our own ‘top of the morning,” but not every body’s morning is on the top. Some are in the bottom. My dog, Rocky, the big dog in the picture, taught me one thing I do to start my day to make sure that my day starts on top. I would like to suggest it for you.

Take the time to smell the flowers. Take a few minutes every morning to have gratitude. Shout “Good morning God!” Not “good God, it’s morning.” Know that this day doesn’t have to be like the last. It can be new and exciting and it all comes down to how you choose to look at it.🙏❤️😎
